Level I
32 Hours : You may have had no Spanish, or perhaps some classes in high
school or college. Maybe you’ve spent some time in a Spanish speaking
country. Either way, our Beginner
classes start at the beginning and rapidly move through the basics (in
the 1st class). Each student moves along at his/her own pace.
Basic survival Spanish is learned early on which includes:
Common greetings, the numbers, basic colors, basic foods, body parts ,
clothing items , telling time, giving/receiving directions, present tense
as well as simple conventions to express past and future events. At
the end of this level, you should be able to comprehend 30 to 40 % of
spoken Spanish: You should be able to carry on simple conversations,
read and begin to write in Spanish. Learn over 1,200 vocabulary
words at comprehension level.
(For
you Grammarians) Additionally, through role play, games and enjoyable
processes, students pick up naturally and easily how to read, write
and use grammar i.e. Ser Vs Estar (To Be), Verbs like
Gustar (To Like), Reflexives, Direct and Indirect Object, Go Go
Verbs, Possessive Adjectives, Esa and Esta (This &
That), Giving Commands (The Imperative), Gender Agreement, Definite &
Indefinite Articles, Por Vs Para and
